Daylesford Masterclass: Perfect Sauces
An essential introduction to sauce making, this half-day class at The Cookery School will cover the fundamental principles and techniques behind a variety of classic and modern sauces. Including stock-based sauces, emulsifications such as hollandaise and dressings such as sauce vierge or salsa verde, we will give you lots of ideas and confidence to recreate delicious accompaniments to your dishes at home.
During a series of demonstrations and hands-on cookery sessions, our Cookery School Team will also explain the use of reductions, how to thicken sauces and how to finish them beautifully to restaurant standard. Towards the end of the morning everyone will enjoy lunch together, trying some of your delicious creations, accompanied by a glass of wine from our sister estate, Chateau Leoube.
£95 per person; includes practical and demonstration cookery sessions, lunch, refreshments and all course materials.
