ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Welcome to the Daylesford Cookery School, a place of sustainable culinary learning and the beating heart of our organic farm.
The 2,500 acres of stunning organic farmland on our doorstep gives us unique access to the freshest, most delicious ingredients in season, all grown organically as nature intended. We pick fruit and vegetables from our Market Garden and select artisan cheeses, milk, cream and bread from our award-winning Creamery and Bakery. We use organic meat reared on our own fields and always source fish and seafood sustainably.
Whether you are a beginner wanting to learn new skills or a confident cook looking for inspiration, our tutors offer a wide range of full-day, half-day and evening courses for every level. Courses are held in a beautifully restored stone barn – the perfect place to learn techniques, recipes and principles to elevate your cooking in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
Our courses are about teaching understanding. Our tutors won’t just show you the ingredients and steps of a recipe; they will pass on their wealth of knowledge to give you a genuine insight into real food.

Each of our expert tutors have wealth of experience in the world of food – some have worked in some of the finest restaurants in the country, while others come to us with an intricate knowledge of everything from fermenting to foraging, nutrition and nourishment. Each of them share a passion for real food made with the finest seasonal ingredients.
