About the Farm
Our Cookery School is located at the very heart of Daylesford farm in the Cotswolds. Since 1975, Daylesford has been one of the most pioneering farms in the UK. We want to lead by example, farming, growing and producing according to sustainable organic principles because we want to care for the land we work. Our connection to the earth is at the heart of everything we do.
By farming organically, we work in harmony with nature and strive to protect its precious resources. We farm responsibly, mindfully, with intelligence and with a conscience. We hold ourselves accountable for our ethical and environmental standards and welcome the opportunity to show you what we do.
THE MARKET GARDEN
We grow over 300 varieties of organic fruit, vegetables, salad leaves and herbs in our Market Garden and with it located a mere 50 meters from the door to our Cookery School it is always the first port of call for fresh, inspiring ingredients.
Wherever possible, a trip to the Market Garden is included in our Cookery School courses. Equipped with baskets and trugs, guests are given the opportunity to harvest their own ingredients fresh from our organic soil to take back to the Cookery School kitchen to craft into something sensational.
