Daylesford Chef Experience – Skills Masterclass
Our signature Daylesford Chef Experience – Skills Masterclass runs every second Sunday of each month, designed to give anyone with an interest in cookery the chance to learn invaluable skills to elevate their cooking to new heights. Whether you’re a complete beginner or more experienced cook, this comprehensive introduction to the essential skills and techniques of classic cookery will ensure you leave you confident enough to execute almost any recipe, as well as being able to create your own dishes and develop a signature style.
Using seasonal, organic produce from our FARM and MARKET GARDEN, this half-day course will discuss the importance of good ingredients, classic flavour combinations, how to create dishes that deliver on all levels, and how to apply time-saving tips to everyday cooking. Covering principles such as, stock making, knife skills, butchery, meat and fish cookery, pastry, meringues, sauce making and much more, this course provides all of the skills and techniques you need to create consistently delicious, elegant dishes at home.
Within each session you will enjoy a combination of demonstrations and hands-on cookery, sitting down together to enjoy each dish you make, accompanied by a glass, or two of wine from our sister estate in Provence Chateau Leoube.
£135 per person; includes practical and demonstration cookery sessions, refreshments, and all course materials. Guests of The Cookery School also enjoy a discount of up to 25% in our FARMSHOP after their course.
