Leaving home for College or University is the perfect time to arm youngsters with the essential skills they need to cook healthy nutritious meals for themselves. This course aims to give students a relaxed yet informative understanding of a variety of simple and effective principles that will allow them to cook with confidence.
Focusing on accessible, affordable ingredients, our tutors will guide them through dishes such as homemade pastas, simple meat and fish dishes, vegetable accompaniments, healthy breakfasts and essential kitchen skills such as knife sharpening, jointing a chicken and making stocks and sauces.
With the chance to explore our MARKET GARDEN and to see first hands where our organic vegetables, fruit and herbs are grown, this course will instill the importance of good ingredients and wholesome eating, giving students the knowledge they need to avoid a diet of freeze-dried noodles and takeaways.
£135 per person, iincludes practical and demonstration cookery sessions, lunch, refreshments and all course material.
