Smoke Without Fire: Vegetarian Barbecue
Cooking on the barbecue doesn’t always have to be a meaty affair, opt to get your grill glowing by embracing whole seasonal vegetables instead, as we show you how to create an array of juicy and indulgent perfection!
This full day course is designed to inspire you with confidence and ideas to take your Al Fresco eating to the next level, cooking and sampling a variety of organic fruit and vegetables from our FARM and MARKET GARDEN.
Whether you’re cooking Mexican-inspired bean burgers, delicate salads, vegetables or even puddings, we’ll teach you fail safe techniques and skills that you can use at home. As well as advice on choosing the best veg to pop on the grill, we will also cover a number of marinades, salads and accompaniments to make sure you can approach your next barbecue with confidence.
On arrival, we will introduce you to your day over freshly made tea and coffee before you enjoy a series of demonstrations and guided hands-on cookery sessions, to create your own dishes on the barbecue. Throughout the day you will have the chance to sit down around our Chef’s Table to try everything you make, accompanied by a glass or two of wine from our sister estate in Provence CHATEAU LEOUBE.
£195 per person; includes practical and demonstration cookery sessions, lunch, refreshments, course material and a selection of dishes created during the course. Guests of The Cookery School also enjoy a discount of up to 25% in our FARMSHOP after their course.
