Aimed at those aged between 13 and 19 years, this course aims to give students a relaxed yet informative understanding of a variety of simple and effective principles that will allow them to cook with confidence.
Focusing on accessible, affordable ingredients, our tutors will guide them through dishes such as homemade pastas, simple meat and fish dishes, vegetable accompaniments, healthy breakfasts and essential kitchen skills such as knife skills and sharpening and making delicious stocks and sauces.
With the chance to explore our MARKET GARDEN and to see first hands where our organic vegetables, fruit and herbs are grown, this course will instill the importance of good ingredients and wholesome eating, giving students the knowledge they need to avoid a diet of freeze-dried noodles and takeaways.
£135 per person, includes practical and demonstration cookery sessions, lunch, refreshments and all course material. Guests of The Cookery School also enjoy a discount of up to 25% in our FARMSHOP after their course.
