For over 40 years we have worked with a conscience to make real food with the simplest ingredients, better for our well-being, our soil and our future.
This full-day course sets out to address the general public’s current behaviours of consumption and examine how we can all eat and live more sustainably. We are wasting 30% of food and eating too much – yet at the same time 1 billion people are under-nourished.
At the Cookery School we do not waste a scrap of food and tutors will share their years of experience in making the most of produce, with tried-and-tested techniques of preservation, fermentation, substitution, eating seasonally, cooking with gluts and more.
As well as plenty of recipe inspiration, this course will give you valuable tips on how to use less packaging and shop intelligently.
£195 per person, includes practical and demonstration cookery sessions, lunch, refreshments and all course material. Guests of The Cookery School also enjoy a discount of up to 25% in our Farmshop after their course.
