The Vegan Kitchen
Balanced nutrition, animal welfare and protection of the environment have always been topics of enormous concern to us at Daylesford. In recent years, more people have been inspired to examine their eating habits and movements such as veganism, vegetarianism, flexitarianism and others have grown.
This brand new, full-day course provides a comprehensive overview on sustainable, plant-based foods that will inspire you, whether you are consciously trying to lower your animal protein consumption or simply interested in varying your cooking and eating.
The day will begin with a guided walk around our organic Market Garden, where you will harvest the freshest crops to bring back to the Cookery School to transform into exciting, seasonal and diverse dishes. Our Tutors will share their knowledge on cooking techniques, flavour and texture pairing and ensuring optimum nutrition in every dish.
As you arrive, we will introduce you to your day over freshly made tea and coffee before you enjoy a series of demonstrations and guided hands-on cookery sessions, creating your own dishes. Throughout the day you will have the chance to sit down around our Chef’s Table to try everything you make, accompanied by a glass or two of wine from our sister estate in Provence, CHATEAU LEOUBE.
£195 per person, includes practical and demonstration cookery sessions, lunch, refreshments and all course material. Guests of The Cookery School also enjoy a discount of up to 25% in our Farmshop after their course.
