Daylesford Discusses is a series of events held every other month across our farmshops. Hosted by our Resident Nutritionist Rhaya Jordan and friend of Daylesford JOSEPHINE O’HARE, this evening of discussion brings to light a variety of issues close to our hearts, namely around the topics of health, wellbeing, sustainability, balance and conscious choices.

Our November discussion will look at the subject of supplementing. With an ever-growing interest in our health and wellbeing, there is a myriad of information out there on what we all need to be supplementing our diets with, be it vitamins and minerals, powdered greens or a variety of other cleverly marketed lotions and potions. But in today’s world of intensive farming, can we really get all that our body needs from the food that we eat? And what about vegetarians and vegans – can they really lead a nourished life without the need for supplements? Throughout the discussion we will also ask a number of important questions of our expert panel, but perhaps most importantly, we will also be looking at the outcomes of the overuse or misuse of supplements and if supplementing in the wrong ways can cause potentially harmful damage. The panel of guests will be confirmed soon, please check back for updates.

We very much look forward to welcoming you for what will undoubtedly be an informative evening.
