In this three-hour, hands-on workshop, you will design and make your own handmade leather espadrilles, which will be ready to wear by the end of the session.

First you will choose from a stock of reclaimed leather and vegan materials, before selecting your preferred styles, cutting out your pattern, learning to shape and pin the leather and finally sewing your shoes. All the materials and equipment needed will be provided and no prior experience is necessary.

After an enjoyable morning you will be ready to walk out in your own brand new pair of handmade shoes!

This workshop is hosted by Joanna who runs Juta Shoes, an award-winning social enterprise handcrafting reclaimed leather espadrilles in London.
