Our iconic farmshop takes full advantage of its location; vegetables, fruit and herbs are picked each morning from the market garden and go a few yards into the shop and to our chefs in our award-winning cafe.

 

Next door is our dairy and creamery, our farm kitchens and our organic animals, who roam freely on the surrounding organic pastures.

Over 35 years ago, we began to turn our family’s farmland over to sustainable, organic farming. What began as a simple passion for real food and a desire to feed our children better has grown into Daylesford as we know it today, one of the most sustainable organic farms in Britain

We source as many of our ingredients as we can from our organic farm in the Cotswolds. All our breads and pastries are freshly made by hand on our farm. Our milk, butter, yoghurt and buttermilk are all produced by happy and healthy cows, raised on lush grass pastures.

OUR SOURCING POLICY

All of our beef, lamb, chicken, bread & cheese comes from our organic farms in Gloucestershire and Staffordshire. We aim to be 100% organic in our restaurants, just as we are on our farm. We can’t call our wild ingredients such as ocean-caught fish organic, but we only source them from sustainable sources. When we source from outside our farm, we always choose quality organic ingredients when they’re available.

FARM TOURS

We offer three farm tours a year, riding on our tractor trailer with our farmer: in the Spring, to see our newborn lambs at Easter, during
our Summer Festival in May and Harvest celebrations in September. When our delicious strawberries are ripe during July, we welcome you to come and pick your own, and 2–3pm every Friday during the school summer holidays (from July to the first week in September) you can visit our vibrant market garden with our head gardener and his team and have all your horticultural questions answered.

FARM WALKS

Explore over 2,000 acres of our well-tended organic farmland, gardens and orchards on one of our farm walks and discover our heritage breed hens, sheep, Aberdeen Angus and South Devon cattle, Gloucester cows and our herd of British Friesians. Open all year round, and clearly signposted, some are suitable for buggies and small children. Perfect with a picnic of salads, cakes, meats, cheese and wine from our organic farmshop.

Bamford HaybarN SPA

The Bamford Haybarn Spa is a wellness retreat in the Cotswolds, situated next to the Daylesford Farmshop. With a strong commitment to caring for the mind, body and spirit, it offers a calming day retreat. Emphasising the human connection with nature, the Haybarn Spa offers a range of activities that nurture inner peace, including yoga, pilates, meditation, facial and massage treatments.

Let the scent of freshly cut flowers, fragrant blooms and seasonal plants guide you to our Garden Room. From hand-tied arrangements, to vases, gardening equipment, pet supplies and scented candles, this room is a joy to browse. Our talented, highly qualified Head Florist Tina Stallard-Pearson and her team are on hand to give advice and fulfil bespoke orders.
